Suited With Confidence: Workshop for High School Seniors

Confidence Foundation has started a new program, Suited With Confidence, which is aimed to serve  seniors in high school and college students living in under-served communities. The purpose of this initiative is to use fashion as a tool to empower young boys and girls. Confidence Foundation will provide professional image tips including complimentary wardrobe to wear to their job interviews.  Confidence Foundation will also connect the students with a network of companies who are looking to hire fresh talent.

On May 19, 2021, the co-founders of Confidence Foundation, Norman and Robin Harris-Scales, are launching a Suited With Confidence pop up event hosted by Tesla Gold Coast. Burberry blazers will be donated to this year’s selected CPS High School graduates. The event will feature an informal  professional-wear styling presentation and a workshop on “Pitching with Confidence”. Complimentary Burberry blazers will be distributed at the conclusion of the workshop and students will practice their pitch at mock interviews provided by potential employers on site. As an added bonus, students will enjoy a ride around the city in a Tesla, compliments of Tesla Gold Coast!

This event is designed to equip students with the tools and resources to position themselves as front runners in the job seeking market.

Students are selected based on the following terms and conditions:

Must have a Covid-19 test and show proof of a negative test result prior to the event

Must give jacket size and pant size

Must have good grades in school
